For the last couple of years, Martin Garrix had done a lot. Won the DJ Mag #1 twice, headlining major festivals like Ultra, Coachella, Tomorrowland, became the ambassador for Armani Exchange, and more. However, one thing he hasn’t done is release an album.
If we go back to two years for now, Martin Garrix promised an album from him. He said that he’s gonna release an album in 2016. Fans were excited for a new album but since no, it doesn’t happen.

For the last two years, the only thing we get closer to an album was his Seven Release thing. Martin Garrix released seven tracks on seven days with seven different artists. On behalf of that we get hit singles like “Scared To Be Lonely,” “Byte,” “There For You,” “Pizza,” “Forever,” “So Far Away,” “Like I Do,” “Game Over,” “Ocean,” and “High On Life.”
It’s hard to say what is keeping him not releasing an album but I got to say that do we really need an album from him? He puts out a single every so often, headlines festivals and with all of these I don’t see an interest on him for a album.
So will we ever actually get a Martin Garrix album? We don’t know. And honestly, who knows if it would even be any good. But I really enjoy the way that Martin releases his tracks. Many said that he’s in to pop side but if we look back to his recent releases, he’s not. Evey artist like to do something new, something beyond what he’s doing and Martin Garrix did it well.
For now, Garrix has announced a collaboration with street performer Mike Yung, and has unreleased collaborations with Dyro and Justin Mylo on deck, as well, so you can look forward to all of that. But an album? Perhaps not for a long time.
