All set for the new era of Major Lazer but this time, Jillionaire won’t be there to celebrate it. The long time member Jillionaire reportedly left his super group, Major Lazer to continue his solo project.
The departure began to become apparent when his name was continuously left out of promotional materials. The video below, for instance, only mentions Jillionaire in the first scene. Thereafter, it was only Diplo and Walshy.
Jillionaire also wasn’t there at Governors Ball past weekend with the group.
Still we are waiting for an official statement from the group about this scenario.
Jillionaire was a member of the group since 2011. He and Walshy were the ones who replaced the founding member Switch. Jillionaire worked with Major Lazer for two albums including Free the Universe in 2013, and Peace is the Mission in 2015.
