For the last couple of years, Diplo had his name under many side projects including Jack U, LSD, Major Lazer, Silk City. Jack U was started by Skrillex and Diplo back in 2013 and shut down after 2 years. After 4 years, they teases brand new Jack U music surprising their fans.
The last collaboration of Diplo and Skrillex was the album back in 2015 called “Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü“. The album was a game changer and it was something new and experimental.
Songs like “Take Ü There” featuring Kiesza, “Where Are Ü Now” with Justin Bieber and “To Ü” featuring AlunaGeorge became instant staples in the EDM scene.
There were bunch of rumors about a reunion but have yet to see it actually happen. Deep down, we all want it.
Yesterday, Diplo teases a possible reunion hint with a caption “Comment a [raised hands emoji] if we should release some more jack ü,”
The post got over 85,000 likes and 11,000 comments at the time of writing. Let’s hope we will get something really soon.
