A shocking new today. As we say 2020 is the worst, here is another proof. Techno artist i_o, real name Garrett Lockhart, fka Fawks, has died. He was 30.
i_o was known for his dark techno persona and acid rave sound, releasing on Spinnin’ Deep, Bite This, and mau5trap at the inception of the project.
His sound was the strongest inside his genre, and he redefined where techno could be played and who would listen to it.
It’s still a shock for all the fans out there. The cause of death is still unknown.
Rumors began swirling earlier today after deleted posts from both his girlfriend and management began subtly circulating on the web.

A week ago, i_o posted on Instagram with a caption “do you ever question your life?’. So this post is still curious for the fans. Was he suffering from something inside?

i_o died at at a time we all never expect.
