It’s that time of the year again. Spotify just launched the “Artists Wrapped 2020”, giving a summery engagement with their music.
For individual users, most of whom can currently see the feature on their app, the list included their top songs of the year, their top artists of the year, top genres, minutes listened and more.
We know 2020 is nothing but the worst year for the industry. The pandemic still continue.
To access Wrapped, all you have to do is log in to your Spotify for Artists page on the web or mobile. If you haven’t claimed your account, don’t worry, you can do that here and then check out your Wrapped after.
As long as you’ve had more than three listeners before October 31st, there’s a Wrapped experience waiting for you at Spotify for Artists.
This service highlights typically include total hours streamed; increases in followers, total listeners, new listeners, streams or playlist adds; number of times listeners played their songs on repeat; number of fans that had them as their most-listened-to artist; total number of fans who shared the artist’s profile, albums and songs; countries where they were listened to for the first time as well as countries where they were listened to the most; and information on the “journey” of the artist’s top track of the year, including how it traveled around the world and when it had the most listeners at the same time.
Yeah. That’s a lot. And I guess this is what we all needed. If you are an artist, this chart gives you the best idea of how your fan base is growing how they interact with your music.
In an instant, we saw so many artists posting screenshots of their results. If we have a look at EDM artists, we saw KYGO and Marshmello hitting the 2 Billion milestone on streams. Major Lazer almost on 1 Billion and the list go on and on.
